Ruth Page “Center Stage 2024”
2024 Center Stage at Ruth Page, is the annual birthday celebration and fundraiser for Ruth Page Center and its programs. Moonwater has been invited to participate and share the stage with some of Ruth Page’s in-residence companies and several other Chicago based companies.

Celebration of 5 Seasons
Join Moonwater Dance Project as we celebrate 5 seasons! This performance will include repertory from Moonwater I, II, IV, and V. Featuring choreographers Mackenzie King, Katie Carey, Shannon Alvis, Hanna Brictson, and Noelle Kayser.
Dance for Life
Chicago Dancers United, which supports the health and wellness of Chicago’s professional dance community, announces Dance for Life 2023. The complete lineup of artists includes BOOM CRACK! Dance Company, Chicago Tap Allstars, Giordano Dance Chicago with Giordano II and members of South Chicago Dance Theatre, Hiplet Ballerinas, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet, freelance performers Joseph Massarelli and Riho Sakamoto, Moonwater Dance Project, Muntu Dance Theatre, and, for the finale, choreographer Randy Duncan. Dance for Life raises money for The Dancers’ Fund, which provides Chicago dance industry professionals with financial support for preventative health care and critical medical needs. The event showcases the city’s unique variety of dance traditions and styles by bringing together professional dance companies and dancers from throughout Chicago, who unite to support their peers by generously donating their time, energy, and artistry. An additional beneficiary of Dance for Life is AIDS Foundation Chicago. Dance for Life 2023 Co-Chairs are Ted Grady, Ross Slotten MD, Victor Alexander, and Maray Gutierrez. 2023-24 season subscriptions now available.
Wave Wall Moves
In partnership with Navy Pier, dance comes to the Wave Wall stage across from the iconic Ferris Wheel grand staircase with pop-up performances featuring a rotating roster of dance companies and artists each Saturday throughout the summer. New this year: an expanded schedule with two companies/artists taking the stage each Saturday.
MOONWATER V
Moonwater V is the company’s 5th self-produced show. Join us to celebrate the milestone of 5 seasons as a dance company and the future of Moonwater Dance Project. This year’s performance is featuring work by some of Chicago’s leading Choreographers: Shannon Alvis, Braeden Barnes, and Robyn Mineko Williams as well as company dancer and Executive Director, Celine Spinka O’Brien and Artistic Director, Mackenzie King.

Nō Dance Fest
Nō Studios is partnering with New York City's Joyce Theater to bring Dance Fest back to Milwaukee. A company associated with the Joyce Theater will join Milwaukee area dance companies in a combined performance at Bayshore Mall on Saturday, June 24th.
Moonwater V Preview at Zen Yoga Garage
Join Moonwater Dance Project for a dance happy hour at Zen Yoga Garage. See a preview of works premiering in Moonwater V, while enjoying drinks and snacks provided by local vendors at the beautiful ZYG studios. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a free month of yoga at ZYG as well as 2 tickets to Moonwater V. Phases
Phases is a brand new annual performance presented by Moonwater Dance Project. Coming this December to The Fasseas Whitebox at the Drucker Center, Phases is a choreography show that allows the company dancers to create and present their own choreography for a professional performance.
Take Up Space
Take Up Space returns for its 4th year! Join us in celebrating the phenomenally talented female choreographers and artistic directors of Chicago. Take Up Space 2022 will feature performances by Moonwater Dancer Project, Peckish Rhodes Performing Arts Society, Hot Crowd, Trifecta Dance Collective, and Jackie Nowicki. The evening will consist of engaging performances, drinks, and rubbing shoulders with artists and art lovers alike- all taking place at the fun and intimate Trigger Chicago.
